I am a qualified makeup artist with a certificate in makeup design and production. I use professional products and observe strict health & safety rules to keep all of my clients safe. As a photographer I also understand how makeup performs on camera as well as in real life.
This page covers pricing for basic, formal and bridal makeup and hair. For looks involving special effects, prostheses, or avant garde style makeup, please use my Contact Form and I can provide an accurate quote.
I do makeup for photo shoots, formals, weddings and other events, as well as special effects. I can also incorporate face and body painting into makeup using cosmetic grade paints.
I am also available as a mentor – learn to do your own makeup perfectly!
As a mobile makeup artist my travel fee within Christchurch is a flat $20. Travel outside of Christchurch is based on the distance, please contact me for a quote.
- Basic Makeup, $40
- Includes professionally matched foundation, natural contouring, highlight & blush, natural or smoky eye makeup, lip colour of your choice. False lashes $5 extra (individual clusters that add volume and flare while looking natural – latex free glue available, please advise on booking).
- Includes professionally matched foundation. Your choice of natural or dramatic contouring, highlight & blush, your choice of eye makeup & lip colour, false lashes included (latex free glue available, please advise on booking).
- Formal Makeup, $60
- Wedding Makeup:
- Requires a consultation and trial makeups at half cost (at least one bride & bridesmaid). During this trial we will tailor the makeup to your preference so it is perfect on your special day. Bridal, Bridesmaid and Mother of the Bride makeups include false lashes if desired.
- Bridal Makeup, $100
- Bridesmaid, $70
- Mother of the Bride, $50
- Flower girls $10 each or one FREE with each paid Bridal or Bridesmaid makeup.
- Groom & groomsmen $20 (Includes light foundation or powdered base, blemish cover, and if desired any of the following: lip balm, lip pencil, eyebrow fill, natural contouring. It’s a good idea to trial this option if your Groom has concerns about wearing makeup. It should not be noticeable and will make sure he looks his best for photographs.)
- Hair:
- Hair work includes hair product, ties and bobby pins, you must provide your own decorative items if required. If unsure what category your desired hair fits into, please contact me.
- Basic Up-do, $30, does not involve curling/straightening. Recommended for fashion shoots, some formal hair-ups, or with basic makeup for a natural, polished look.
- Premium Up-do, $60, includes curling/straightening where necessary. Recommended for elaborate or period hair styles, wedding hair-ups, and other hair-ups which require heat tools (ie. straightening or curling hair of the opposite type).
- Straighten or curl only, $30. Heat sets with curlers, tongs or straighteners to be left out.
